Michal Wesolowski began his musical journey at the age of 7. He quickly demonstrated a natural aptitude for music, and soon began to develop his talent on the clarinet. Michal studied clarinet at the Academy of Music in Gdansk, receiving numerous scholarships including one from the Polish Ministry of Culture.

During his studies at the Academy of Music in Gdansk, Michal was awarded a special scholarship to pursue further studies at the Escola Superior de Música e das Artes do Espectáculo in Porto, Portugal, where he studied under the tutelage of the world-renowned clarinet master Antonio Saiote. Now based in London, Michal’s musical ventures have taken him around Europe, Asia, and the Americas with both individual and orchestral concerts.

Michal’s dedication to his craft has earned him recognition in the music community, including a 2nd Prize win in the Musique de Chambre category at the Paris Concours International de Musique et d’Art Dramatique Léopold Bellan competition in 2013. He has made studio and live recordings for various projects, including for the documentary movie “Rzeczpospolita Londyńska – Republic in Exile”. In 2016, he premiered the recording of “Songs of Epirus”, a piece by American composer Dinos Constantinides, which was published by Centaur the following year.

Michal not only educates and inspires audiences with his performances, but he also actively contributes to the music community in various other ways. He is regularly invited to sit on scholarship panels, including the Leonardo Aggio Financial Trust Award. With his dedication to his craft and passion for music, Michal continues to inspire audiences around the world with his expressive and masterful performances.
